So, with the month of May, I am doing two reviews in back to back weeks. I haven’t done that since, goodness, 2013 or 2014 when I was doing the reviews in a more regular duration. Then again, they are covering much shorter installments for a franchise I have covered previously. It’s always good to revisit those from time to time.

Say what made you get into anime in the first place? For me it was the wonderment of watching something like nothing else I had seen before. FullMetal Alchemist 2003, Read or Die (both OVA and TV series) and even Neon Genesis Evangelion drew me into anime/manga over a decade in part due to this. Though for a time, between the summers of 2011 and 2013 I didn’t really keep up with new stuff (1-2 shows at most). But in the summer of 2013 I did get back into the game, my interest reinvigorated. Some of those shows include Girls und Panzer and From the New World, but there is one feature that I take particular note of, especially as it’s my birthday today. Without further ado, here it is:
